What these terms cover

This website is owned and operated by CONES Solutions, Inc., an Iowa corporation with its principal office at 2408 40th Avenue, Moline, Illinois, which also trades as CONES. The company was formerly known as the Dan Cone Group and, before that, as Cone’s Repair Service, Inc. By using this site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These are terms for the website, and only for the website. They do not set the terms of any work we do for you. What a job costs, when it happens and what is warranted are agreed with you for that job, on the quote or the invoice for it.

Nothing on this website is a contract for work, and nothing here changes anything we have separately agreed with you in writing.

We may change these terms. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.

Requests you submit here

A submitted request is a request, not a confirmed appointment and not a binding quote. We confirm scheduling separately, and a quote is a quote when we send you one in writing.

Emergency work outside business hours is available and is billed at after-hours and overtime rates.

Please check what you type. A mistyped model or serial number can delay a repair or send a technician with the wrong part.

Accuracy of information

Equipment listings, brand information, coverage areas and hours are given in good faith and can change. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell at a stated price.

The parts search is a search of a large catalogue, not a statement of what is on our shelf. Where a result says an item is available for collection, that is our best current information and we will confirm it before you make the trip.

We do not guarantee that the information here is complete or current, and we may change it without notice.

Using the site

Use the site lawfully. Do not use it in a way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair it, or interfere with anyone else using it. Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to it or to any system or network behind it.

Do not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, download, store or transmit material from this site without our prior written consent.

Invoices and payments

Online payment runs through our customer portal and requires an account. Fortis processes the transaction and its terms apply to the payment itself. This website does not collect card numbers.

Billing disputes follow the process shown on your invoice.

Trademarks and content

Site content and the CONES trademarks belong to CONES Solutions. Manufacturer names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and appear here to identify equipment we sell, service and stock parts for, which is nominative use.

Nothing here implies endorsement by, or affiliation with, a manufacturer beyond the relationship described on the page you are reading.

We link to sites we do not control. Those links are a convenience and are not an endorsement. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or terms of any site we link to.

These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of this website. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by us, and not enforcing a provision once does not waive it.
